Event Description
The Annual Regional Kumite Championship is Martivo's largest open-mat sparring competition of the year. Hundreds of competitors from dozens of surrounding dojos will arrive to test their skill, timing, and honor in the ring.
There are distinct weight and experience brackets. Helmets and full padding are required for colored belts. Black belts compete in separate open-weight elimination tournaments. Registration closes exactly 7 days before the event, so secure your bracket position early.
Tournament Rules
- Standard WKF point scoring (Ippon, Waza-ari, Yuko).
- No excessive contact to the head. Clean technique is heavily favored over force.
- Competitor check-ins open right at 8:00 AM sharp. Bring valid ID.
